Guatemala has reported an outbreak of CSF

The outbreak is limited to a farm in Sacatepequez and includes a total of 16,130 susceptible animals.

The veterinary authorities of Guatemala have reported the occurrence of classical swine fever in the country.

The outbreak was reported by a private veterinarian authorized by the official veterinary services. It is limited to a farm in Sacatepequez (Finca Chuito, Villa Chuito, Pastores) and includes a total of 16,130 susceptible animals of which 29 cases.

Epidemiological surveillance is ongoing at a national level.
