A new outbreak of classical swine fever has been reported to the OIE.

The outbreak, with 10 pigs susceptible and 3 cases, occurred on a farm in the Village of Sajcavilla, San Juan Sacatepequez.

The farm was a backyard farm without biosecurity measures; animals are fed on grass, seeds, bran and household food waste.
