Since July 30th Russia has notified the OIE of the occurrence of 38 outbreaks of African swine fever in the country.

Although most outbreaks were detected in Krasnodarskaya (21 outbreaks), some have also been detected in Yaroslavskaya (1), Tverskaya (9), Rostovskaya (1), Novgorodskaya (2) and Volgogradskaya (4).

The total number of susceptible animals amounted to 147,850 with a total of 3,350 cases, 3 of which occurred in boars.

Regarding CSF, two outbreaks were detected, one in Pskovskaya and the other in Yevreyskaya, with a total of 450 susceptible animals resulting in 102 cases.

Regarding the development of CSF in Ukraine, the OIE has not reported further outbreaks.
