The Brazilian pork (including both pork and processed products) exports have dropped in March, reaching 54,800 tonnes, this entailing a decrease by 5.6% with respect to March 2018, according to the data provided by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).
Nevertheless, regarding the first trimester of 2019, the figures are positive, because 157,500 tonnes were exported: an increase by 1,46% in terms of volume in comparison with the same period in 2018 (155,200 tonnes).
In terms of value, in the first trimester of 2019 the exports reached USD298.3 million: 5.4% more than between January and March 2018.
