The Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Mr. Charon Amerhanov, participated in the 5th Conference of the Animal Nutrition Industry, that was attended by feed producers and people from related sectors, representatives of research companies and people in charge of industrialists’ associations and unions.
According to Mr. Charon Amerhanov, in the last years there has been a positive trend in the national feed production, with a rise by 4% in 2016, reaching 28.8 million tonnes.
The experts deem that in 2015, in the context of the projected livestock and fowl production volume, the production of feed will have to rise up to 38 million tonnes.
