Kazakhstan lifts ASF-related restrictions on Russian pigs and pork

Supply of pigs and pork products from 19 Russian regions is open to Kazakhstan.

The Veterinary Control and Oversight Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed that the restrictions previously introduced due to the detection of African swine fever were lifted for the supply of pigs and pig products from 19 regions: Orenburg, Saratov, Smolensk, Rostov, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Vladimir, Bryansk Oh, Ryazan, Pskov, Yaroslavl, Omsk, Belgorod, Ivanovo, Irkutsk, Moscow and Novgorod regions, the Republic of North Ossetia of the Russian Federation.

According to a statement by the Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Isaeva, the supply of pigs and pig products from the above regions of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan is open.
