Last year, the European Union exported 4,193,639 t of pork and pork products to third countries.
Spain was the largest exporter with 1,340,683 t, representing 32% of the total, followed by the Netherlands (17%), Denmark (15%), Germany (8%), and France (6%). The remaining EU countries accounted for 884,894 t (21%).

China was the leading destination except for Germany, which has been affected by African swine fever since 2020 and has its exports to China restricted.
