The president of the Argentinian Food and Agriculture Health and Quality National Service (Senasa), Diana Guillén, held a meeting with the president of the Paraguayan Animal Quality and Health National Service (Senacsa), Hugo Idoyaga, in which they addressed matters common to both countries regarding animal health.
During the progress of the meeting, both principals agreed on working together with regard to the preservation of animal health, the promotion of the competitiveness of the sector for its development by means of the quality, animal health, and the harmlessness of the animal derived products and byproducts.
We must highlight that last December 3rd, in the city of Foz de Iguazú (Brazil), they proceeded to the change in the temporary presidency of the Permanent Veterinary Committee of the Southern Cone (CVP) for year 2014, which passed from the Republic of Chile to Paraguay. Hugo Idogaya became its president. The CVP is an institution formed by the maximum authorities of the animal health and animal derived foods harmlessness official services of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
