Sinaloa joined the 11 states that already have a Health Intelligence State Unit (UEIS) in the country, that work, in a coordinate manner, with the SENASICA network with the aim of exchanging information in real time on the behaviour of epidemics and diseases in Mexico and the wold.

With the 12 existing UEISs, the National Health Intelligence Network is becoming integrated. It is a greatly useful tool equipped with state-of-the-art technology and geolocation systems to protect the food production in Mexico.

The Sinaloa UEIS will have a highly technified crisis room that will allow to notify the situation, immediately and remotely, to the health authorities of all the country and even abroad, and this will allow to deal, immediately, with the emergencies that may appear.

Currently, the UEISs of Jalisco, State of Mexico, Campeche, Yucatán, Nuevo León, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Zacatecas, Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Chihuahua y Sinaloa are working, and it is expected that soon, all the Mexican states will have their own UEIS.
