Progress has been made in collaboration and better coordination within the region, achieved with the active participation and responsibility of all the members of this initiative, which is endorsed and supported by international organizations.
The holding of the First PLACA Forum was highlighted to address the needs and improve interaction among the member countries, the Platform's adhesion to the Food and Agriculture for Sustainable Transformation Initiative (FAST), and the follow-up of countries interested in joining.
Training activities implemented in the region were emphasized to enhance the skills of professionals in the sector through regional technical workshops, webinars, and courses posted on the PLACA website, which to date has 15,891 users and 47,464 visits.
