According to Rosselkhoznadzor, the representatives of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance took part in the negotiations with the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) on launching e-certification system which took place in Brussels on September 16, 2016.
It was agreed to start testing operability of the e-certification system intended for certification of animal feed and feed additives export from the EU to the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation from October 15, 2016.
In the future it is planned to extend the list of products and certificates involved in the experiment.
The parties also discussed technical issues of international interaction between TRACES Information System and the Rosselkhoznadzor Information Systems (FGIS «Argus» and «Mercury»).
