Carel du Marchie Sarvaas has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the International Federation for Animal Health (IFAH), the worldwide organisation representing the manufacturers of veterinary medicines. Du Marchie Sarvaas, a Dutch national, is currently director of agricultural biotechnology at EuropaBio, the European Association for Bioindustries. He brings with him many years of experience as a senior public affairs and communications advisor in Brussels, The Hague, and Washington DC.
