According to the National Animal Health and Quality Service (SENACSA), on March 15 of this year, Paraguay was recognized by BAPHIQ (Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine), the entity responsible for plant and animal health in the Republic of China (Taiwan), as a country free of African swine fever (ASF).
The recognition ratifies the commitment to strengthen animal health and product safety, with the support of the public and private sectors working together, thus achieving greater competitiveness in increasingly demanding markets.
