The authorization procedure for establishments to be able to export products of animal origin for human consumption to Peru previously required their inclusion in a list of "establishments authorized to export products of animal origin intended for human consumption to third countries", by completing a General Application Form.

The National Animal Health and Agri-food Quality Service (SENASA) of Peru, reports that: All European Union plants in countries that have harmonized sanitary requirements with Peru for the import of processed products of animal origin for human consumption have been authorised.

Accordingly, the application procedure for inclusion on the authorised establishments list is eliminated.

Therefore, in Spain, any establishment authorised and registered in the AECOSAN's RGSEAA that markets products of animal origin intended for human consumption may export to Peru those products for which there is a Health Export Agreement.
