The temporary ban on the import of domestic pigs, pork, and semen originating from Belgium has been lifted, according to Memorandum Order 55 from the Department of Agriculture of the Philippines, dated October 26, 2020.

This order follows Belgium's self-declared "ASF free" status for domestic and captive wild pigs, and considers that African swine fever (ASF) in Belgium has only affected wild boars, with the last case occurring in March of 2020.
