There were 44 ASF outbreaks in pigs in 2024, in 7 of 16 provinces:
- Lubelskie (2 outbreaks)
- Warmińsko-Mazurskie (7 outbreaks)
- Western Pomeranian (6 outbreaks)
- Wielkopolskie (23 outbreaks)
- Mazovian (1 outbreak)
- Pomorskie (2 outbreaks)
- Kujawsko-Pomorskie (3 outbreaks)
This is 14 more outbreaks compared to 2023. In 2023, ASF was found in the Lower Silesian province, but none in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian provinces.

In wild boar, 2,311 outbreaks were reported. Only 3 of the 16 provinces remained free of the disease: Łódzkie, Silesian, and Malopolskie.
The largest number of outbreaks in wild boars was found in Pomorskie (494), Wielkopolskie (387), and Zachodniopomorskie (352) provinces. A year earlier, there were slightly more outbreaks, at 2,686.
