Polish minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Marek Sawicki, and Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the People’s Republic of China, deputy minister Wei Chuanzhong, signed the Memorandum of Agreement on cooperation in the area of health quality and health safety of meat, constituting an important step towards further cooperation.
Discussions during the meeting included issues related to access to the Chinese market for Polish animal and plant origin products, with particular focus on resumption of Polish pork export.
