In mid-March there was a trade mission led by the Polish Meat Companies Association (Związkiem Polskie Mięso) and held in Taipei. This event was the result of months of collaboration between this association, the Economic and Cultural Office of Taipei in Poland and the Trade Office of Warsaw in Taipei.
The main goal of the visit was the signing of an agreement between the Polish Meat Companies Association and the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei. This document opens many possibilities for the Polish meat producers. In spite of the existing prohibition to export pig meat to the Taiwanese market, the agreement will allow to demolish these barriers quicker.
