Green Deal - rationalize the goals of the Green Deal, eliminating unnecessary burdens on farmers and promoting environmental measures.
Rural proofing principle - Strengthen rural areas by integrating this principle into the new EU financial framework to enhance resilience against demographic and environmental challenges.
Agricultural markets and trade - Monitor agricultural markets and international trade to protect European interests, ensuring EU trade policies support agricultural competitiveness and safeguard food safety.
Strengthening the position of farmers in the food supply chain - Implement regulations to combat unfair trade practices and strengthen farmers' roles in the food supply chain.
Other issues include regulations on animal protection, phytosanitary regulations, forestry, and plants obtained by genomic methods.
