These campaigns will be cofinanced, with a budget of 200 million euros, of which 118 million will go to campaigns for high-growth countries such as Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Mexico and the United States, while the rest will be used to promote agri-food products within the EU.
The call for proposals is open to a wide range of organizations such as professional associations, producer groups and agri-food groups responsible for promotional activities.
So-called "simple" programs can be submitted by one or more organisations in the same member state. "Multiple" programs can be submitted by at least two organisations from at least two member states or by one or more European organizations.
Proposals must be submitted by April 16, 2020 via the AGRIP portal. CHAFEA, the EU's executive agency for consumers, health, agriculture and food, is organizing an informational day in Brussels on January 30, open to all potential beneficiaries to help them better prepare their proposals.
The Commission will evaluate the proposals and announce the beneficiaries in the autumn.
