According to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) Follow-up Report No. 81, Russian veterinarian authorities have reported two outbreaks of African swine fever in Volgogradskaya Oblast and Respublika Kalmykiya.

A total of 11 pigs were found susceptible, out of which eight cases were identified and five deaths were reported.
