After the confirmation by the OIE, last January, of cases of CSF in wild boars in the county of Dadgas, the Rosselkhoznador has set, since last 7 May, temporary restrictions to the importation into Russia of breeders, swine semen, pork and pork products, as well as of wild boar meat and feeds that have not undergone a thermal treatment.
The Rosselkhoznadzor has pointed out the possibility of establishing additional conditions for the supplying of processed pork products after the inspections of the companies by specialists of the Customs Union. During the aforementioned inspection, an assessment of the hazards in relation with the safety of the supply of finished products that contain pork will be carried out.
