The Russian veterinary authorities have informed the OIE of the emergence of three new outbreaks of FMD.

The focus are located in Grodekovo (Blagoveshchensk rayon, Amurskaya Oblast), Andryuki and Psebay (Mostovskoy, Krasnodarskiy Kray) with a total of 301 cattle, 802 sheep, 266 pigs and 147 sheep / goats susceptible of which 37 cases in cattle.

Regarding the outbreak in Amurskaya Oblast, the source of infection is being established and epidemiological investigation is being conducted. Distance from the State border is 15 meters. Watering place is on the Amur River. In relation to outbreaks in Krasnodarskiy Kray, the source of infection is being established and epidemiological investigation is being conducted.
