According to Eduard Zernin, president of the Council of the Union of Grain Exporters, the Russian grain harvest this year could be between 123 and 130 million tons. He noted that Russia is the largest supplier of wheat to the world market, while fully meeting the needs of the domestic market. The main sales regions for Russian grain are the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, Zernin added. "We have been steadily producing more than 120 million tons of grain for three years, of which we consume about 80 million. Consequently, the rest is our additional reserves and export potential," he stressed.
