Through cooperation between the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and the Main Directorate of the Mongolian Specialized Inspection, the list of Russian enterprises eligible to supply livestock products to the Mongolian market has been expanded.
Mongolian experts conducted inspections of Russian pig production enterprises from November 10 to 21, 2019.
In the inspection report received by the Rosselkhoznadzor in January 2020, the relevant authority of Mongolia indicated that 3 Russian pork production enterprises were recognized as meeting Mongolian veterinary and sanitary and quarantine requirements.
Thus, at present, ten Russian meat processing enterprises have been approved by Mongolian authorities to supply their products to the Mongolian market.
