Russia increases exports of live pigs

Russia has exported over 112,000 head of live animals between January and October, 40,300 of which were pigs.

In the first 10 months of 2020, Russia has exported 40,300 head of live pigs, about 15.4 times more than in the same period of the previous year (2,610 animals).

Export volumes have gradually increased since the beginning of the year after a slight decrease in May-June to pick up again in July. Most of the animals were exported in October (7,100 head). All exports are destined to Georgia, with 100% of the supply.
