According to the information received by the OIE on 22/06/2012 from Dr Evgeny Nepoklonov, Deputy Head, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, Ministry of Agriculture, Moscow, Russia, a new outbreak of African swine fever has been confirmed.

The new outbreak is located in Hamlet Dolgy, Leninsky raion (Volgogradskaya). The epidemiological unit is a village with 25 susceptible animals, 4 of which are affected.
