In 2023, Russia exported a record volume of meat products. In 2024 this is expected to increase by another 10%, according to the head of the National Meat Association, Sergey Yushin.
“I think that our task is to increase the volume of supplies by at least 10%. Last year Russia supplied a record volume of livestock products. In total, the volume of exports of livestock products, including live animals and non-food products, exceeded 1 million tons worth $2 billion US dollars,” said Sergei Yushin. He also noted the expansion of the geography of supplies of Russian meat products.
