Federal Food Safety Office of Switzerland and Swiss Embassy expressed gratitude to the Rosselkhoznadzor for establishment a channel for rapid exchange of information on veterinary certificates issued by official bodies and for cooperation in detection of illegal export of animal products to the Russian Federation from the third parties under the guise of Swiss products which compromise reputation of legitimate establishments.
Due to improving cooperation in this field, which is quite new for Switzerland, Julien Thöni, Counsellor and Head, Economic Affairs, Finance and Science, Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow, expressed interest in holding a meeting with the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives in order to assess the first results of information exchange and to discuss prospects of cooperation between the countries in this field. The Swiss party offered to hold the meeting in the nearest time.
