Russia: three new outbreaks of African Swine Fever

Veterinary services in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, has reported three new outbreaks of African swine fever in Russia affecting domestic animlas and wild boars.

The outbreaks are located in Krasnodarskiy Kray, Astrakhanskaya Oblast and Stavropol'skiy Kray.

A total of 34,759 pigs were found susceptible to the outbreak, out of which 269 cases were reported, with a total of 199 deaths and 34,560 animals destroyed.

Regarding wild boars, 35 animals found susceptible, out of which one case was reported.
