The Russian veterinary authorities have reported two new outbreaks of classical swine fever to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The outbreaks are located in two regions: Krasnodar Krai and Vladimirskaya Oblast and affects swine and wild boars.

In the case of swine (Krasnodar Krai) a total of 50 animals were found susceptible to the disease, out of which 14 cases were identified whereas in the case of wild species (Vladimirskaya Oblast), 30 animals showed signs of susceptibility, out of which three cases and three deaths were recorded.
