Russian meat exports to exceed 1.5 million tons by 2030

In the first eight months of 2024, Russia exported over 400 thousand tons of meat, 11% more than in the same period last year.

According to preliminary calculations by the Federal Center Agroexport, by 2030, the volume of Russian supplies of meat products may exceed 1.5 million tons. In monetary terms, meat exports are estimated at USD 3.5 billion, according to Agroexport in its Telegram channel.

The prospects of Russian meat exports were discussed at the annual conference “Measures to improve the competitiveness of Russian exporters of agricultural products”, organized by the Federal Center Agroexport and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

According to expert estimates, in the first eight months of 2024, Russia exported over 400 thousand tons of pork, mutton, goat, and poultry meat, which is 11% more than in the same period last year.
