On March 1, 2018 within the working program of the FGBI «VGNKI» at the International agricultural exhibition «SIA 2018» in Paris, France, Director of the All-Russian State-Financed Center for Quality and Standardization of Veterinary Drugs and Feed (FGBI «VGNKI») held a number of meetings with representatives of the French association of pork producers and processors INAPORC and the Association of French producers for cooperation with Russia in the field of agriculture and food (AFRAA).
The president of the association Guillaume Roue noted that the cooperation in the field of ASF is extremely important today for the French pork industry, he also stressed the importance of cooperation and the development of a unified strategy on this issue with Russia and a number of European countries.
Director of INAPORC and AFRAA Didier Delzescaux presented the main activities of the AFRAA association and spoke about the priorities for the livestock sector in France.
Vyacheslav Nikulin discussed with Research and Development Project Manager of INAPORC Fabien Verliat a number of issues of antimicrobial use regulation, as well as research achievements in the field of control of antimicrobial resistance and measures of state control and supervisory authorities of France.
Fabien Verliat shared some practical aspects of scientific data application obtained as a result of research conducted by French laboratories in the current activities of veterinary services and manufacturers of veterinary drugs, and also expressed his willingness to exchange experience with the FGBI VGNKI in the field of animal health and food safety, in particular, antimicrobial resistance.
