In agricultural organizations, the production volume reached 5.6 million tons of cattle and poultry (cattle - 479.9 thousand tons, pigs - 2.08 thousand tons, poultry - 3.07 thousand tons), in households - 977 thousand tons, and in private farms - 197 thousand tons.
Russian meat packers and processors in H1 produced 1.7 million tons of semi-finished meat products, meat-containing, chilled, frozen products, sausage products. Production of baby food sausages amounted to 1.1 million tons. Canned meat (meat-containing) production, including canned food for baby food, amounted to 307.2 million standard cans.
