South Africa: nine outbreaks of African swine fever

The new outbreaks ara located in Victor Khanye, Mpumalanga (7 outbreaks) and Lesedi, Gauteng (2 outbreaks).

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) has reported that South Africa has been hit with nine new outbreaks of African swine disease.

The new outbreaks ara located in Victor Khanye, Mpumalanga (7 outbreaks) and Lesedi, Gauteng (2 outbreaks).

According to the report, a total of 520 pigs were found susceptible to the outbreak, out of which 182 cases were identified.
