The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development (DALRRD) of South Africa informed Argentina's National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (Senasa) of the acceptance of the requirements contained in the sanitary certificate proposed by the Argentine agency for shipments of dried porcine hemoglobin. Thus, the measure is now in force.
Shipments of animal and plant products from Argentina to South Africa certified by Senasa total more than 520,000 tons.
Among the main products sent by Argentina to South Africa are: corn grains, soybean meal, sunflower pellets, sheep wool, bovine and poultry offal, and bovine cuts, among others.
