Spain: Sigma and WH Group take control of Campofrio

The Mexican company Sigma and the Chinese company WH Group (formerly Shuanghui) will control 98.31% of the stockholders' equity of Campofrio after ending, with a positive result, the takeover bid (TOB) for the meat company.

Specifically, both parties will be the holders of the aforementioned percentage through Sigma & WH Food Europe, a partnership through which Sigma and WH Group keep their involvement in Campofrio. Specifically, the Mexican company has 62.37% of the shares of this partnership, and the Chinese company 37.63%.
