Sweden: reduction in swine production

Pork production in Sweden has seen a slight reduction during the first half of this year, with a little over 125.480 tons, which represents a total decrease of 0,7% with respect to the same period the year before (126.330 tons in the first half of 2010).

Pork production in Sweden has seen a slight reduction during the first half of this year, with a little over 125.480 tons, which represents a total decrease of 0,7% with respect to the same period the year before (126.330 tons in the first half of 2010).

Regarding number of head, during the first six months of this year a total of 1.403.260 have been slaughtered, slightly below the 1.412.630 slaughtered in the same period last year.
