The people in charge of the government bodies of 16 countries of the American continent supported the proposal of the Mexican government to integrate the American Food and Agriculture Harmlessness Network.
The aforementioned took place within the framework of the Fifth International Forum on Healthy Food, held in Mexico City, where the statement of direction proposal for the creation of this network, presented by the Mexican government, was accepted.
This network will help to strengthen the management systems related to the production of healthy food in the region and in each of the countries.
It will also help to create mechanisms for the exchange of information in order to attend appropriately the alerts in terms of food and agriculture harmlessness.
It also opens up the possibility of counting on tools to solve technical controversies and to afford distance training.
