The OIE has published two new reports concerning new cases of African swine fever (ASF) in Ukraine.

In its first report, in this case an immediate notification, the OIE confirms the presence of the disease on a pig subsistence farm in a correctional institution, with a total of 274 susceptible animals, located in Cherkasy (Prydniprovskiy, Cherkassy.) 

In a second follow-up report ASF was confirmed on a subsistence farm at the National Agrarian University of Bila Tserkva (Kiev), with 66 cases and 1,813 susceptible animals. All the animals have been destroyed.
