The Brazilian government welcomed the announcement of the sanitary approval allowing Brazil to export frozen pork mesentery (ruffle fat) and jowls, key inputs for the production of sausages and processed foods, to the Philippine market, based on the International Health Certificate in force.
This year, the Philippines became the largest market for Brazilian pork. The recent opening incorporates products that are especially valued in Asian markets into the trade between the two countries, strengthening mutual trust and contributing to an increase in the volumes exported by Brazil.
