According to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), the Department of Agriculture of the Government of The Philippines has notified the reopening of this country’s market to Brazilian chicken, pork and beef.

The discontinuation of the imports of Brazilian products took place in September 2017. During 2017, before the cancellation, Brazil had exported to The Philippines some 35,000 tonnes of chicken and 2,000 tonnes of pork.
