The Russian Government extends the ban on EU products by one year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he had signed the necessary order to renew the ban on food imports from EU. Furthermore, products including wine, chocolate and flowers could join the list of banned products.

The move is a direct response to the ecomnomic sanctions imposed by the EU to Moscow this week, until 31 January 2016, for its role in the Ukraine crisis.
