During the past six years, between 2012 and 2017, the number of outbreaks of African swine fever has decreased by 75% in domestic pigs (up to 90% between August 2017 and March 2018) and by about 64% in wild boar.
The annual boar seroprevalence indicator in the current infected area has gone from 10.44% in the 2012-13 hunting season to 3.80% in the 2017-18 season.
