Regarding the current epizootic situation with respect to the African swine virus in Poland, the Ukrainian veterinary services have forbidden the import of live animals, as well as of byproducts, genetic material and feed from the voivodates of Podlasie, Mazowieckie, Lublin, Warmian-Mazurskiego and Podkarpackie.
The feeds containing animal products destined to pets that have been submitted to a heat treatment that guarantees the destruction of the African swine fever virus have been excluded from the prohibition, as well as the feeds containing plant and chemical products.
