According to the information published by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Ukraine, one of the main buyers of Brazilian pig meat, that had suspended the purchase of this kind of meat from this country, has announced that it will allow the entry of Brazilian pig meat in Ukraine again.
The embargo was imposed by the Ukrainian government in March, when the purchases were suspended due to the detection of Listeria in some batches coming from abattoirs located in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
