Levy rates to be charged to farmers, growers and others in the supply chain by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) for next financial year - from 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012 - have been approved by Ministers in Defra and the Devolved Administrations.

The rates are increasing across three of the six agricultural and horticultural sectors covered by AHDB, namely beef and lamb in England, cereals and oilseeds in the UK and potatoes in GB. The rates in the other three sectors (Horticulture in GB, Pigs in England and Milk in GB) remain unchanged from the 2010/11 rates.
