An economic impact study from Iowa's for Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD) predicts the impact that the COVID-19 epidemic will have on the state's corn, soybean, and hog markets.

The virus is expected to cost the Iowa hog industry upwards of $2 billion dollars and also financially impact corn and soybean sectors at a cost of $788 million and $213 million respectively.
