On August 22, 2023, the Department of Livestock Production organized a delegation to assess the conditions of animal feed production at the factory of Hanoi Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Joint Stock Company - Hung Yen branch, located in Hung Yen province. The factory has a complete compound feed production line and a powder supplement production line. The meeting was attended by the Danish Delegation to provide technical assistance in improving the institution for the livestock industry.
The representative of the Danish expert group highly appreciated the plan, method, and content of implementing the activities of the evaluation team of the Department of Livestock Production. The assessment activities of the Department of Livestock Production have ensured urgency, honesty, and objectivity, and have many similarities with the management of feed quality control in Denmark. Experts have shared more about how to implement law enforcement on feed management in Denmark. The Danish experts also suggested that the feed factory should further strengthen biosecurity and hygiene.
The representative from Hanoi Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Joint Stock Company - Hung Yen branch, Mr. Nguyen Quy Cuong, agreed with the points that the evaluation team pointed out. He affirmed that he had drawn many useful lessons from the evaluation done by the Department to further improve the production process, improve product quality, and commit to overcoming the shortcomings as soon as possible.
