According to statistics from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), there are currently 96 large-scale animal feed production enterprises in Hai Duong province. In addition, the province also has 46 animal feed processing factories of businesses outside the province. Therefore, Hai Duong is considered the "capital" of animal feed businesses.
Animal feed production is the main field contributing to the growth of the food production and processing industry in Hai Duong province. According to the Provincial Statistics Department, in the first 5 months of 2024, the growth of the animal feed production industry will reach 12.1%. This is a positive growth rate, marking the return of development of animal feed production and the livestock industry in general.
Experiencing epidemics and market fluctuations, farmers began to pay attention to research, select suitable livestock, and stabilize and expand the scale of farming. These favorable conditions have created a push for animal feed businesses to develop.
